The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cut sod for the development of a nationwide cathedral to indicate the 60th Birthday of the country.

The President, Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo cut the sod on the morning hours of the Freedom Day at the National Grant Secretariat in the capital of Ghana – Accra.

The occasion was joined by significant men of God in the nation such as Archbishop Nicolas Duncan-Williams, Minister Mensah Otabil, Palmer Belt, Rev Winner Kusi, Previous Moderator of the Presbytarian Church of Ghana, Prof Emmanuel Martey, Present Moderator of the Presby Church, Prof Cephas Narh Omenyo and several others.

Prez, Addo Dankwa Akufo added The Cathedral would provide as a nationwide location of praise and a location for the gathering to hold important religious ceremonies.
Speaking at the sod reducing ceremony, the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo indicated the wish that the hope that the building would be completed very soon and serve its intended purpose.
